A life well lived

Journal entry by Jon Zaff — Nov 6, 2018

At 6:40pm this evening, Arnie - loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and overall mensch - passed away peacefully.

These two weeks have been difficult for us, but we are also grateful that we had these two weeks to be with him, talk with him, and tell him how much we love him. To see him smile when the Red Sox won the World Series, when a friend told a joke, or when his grandchildren were with him (in person or by Skype) was a gift.

We are also grateful that so many close friends had a chance to be with him.  As so many of you know, he is a loyal and caring friend and he so appreciated seeing all of you. Each one of you brought him joy.

We celebrate his life - a life well lived.
