"Synagogue-of-the-Month"Our Featured Member synagogue for May 2009 is Temple Beth Shalom, a Reform congregation in Peabody. We are pleased to recognize the synagogue in celebration of its 50th anniversary! Temple Beth Shalom was founded 50 years ago and has provided the local Jewish community with a broad range of services throughout that time. We have a rich tradition of education including Hebrew school, pre-school and adult education, not to mention an on-going series of guest lectures from local and visiting scholars. If you are looking for a place of Jewish community, education, social interaction and worship then we hope you will consider Temple Beth Shalom. To celebrate our 50th birthday here at Temple Beth Shalom, we will be having a speical Havdalah Service, May 2, 2009, followed by a Champagne reception.
