The Synagogue Council of Massachusetts

Project Ezra

the annual Christmas day feeding program established 15 years ago by the Synagogue Council in which over 1,500 Jewish volunteers from more than 70 synagogues and organizations across the Commonwealth staff shelters and feeding programs, enabling Christian volunteers and workers to share the holiday with family.

Words of gratitude from several of the over 80 institutions served by Project Ezra...

"The Project Ezra volunteers have become a big part of our holiday family. The Christmas Day Community Dinner would not be the same if they were not here!"

"Words cannot express our gratitude for your time on Christmas Day. We would not have been able to manage without your help."

"The volunteers were wonderful. Thank you so much for your time and efforts. It made our residents feel so loved and appreciated!"

Please contact your synagogue's Social Action Chair or Project Ezra coordinator to learn how YOU can become a part of this "Mitzvah You'll Never Forget"!
