Zooming for Jewish Disability Inclusion

This interative Zoom Meeting addressed this issue in three parts:

First, Rebecca Redner provided an overview of disabilities affecting Jewish people. Next, Rivka Solomon and Jacob Speaks shared their stories of living with disabilities as well as the importance to them to Zoom with their communities. Rabbi Ben Weiner discussed his experiences as well and concluded the meeting with a Q & A session.

Key talking points included:

  • Should remote access continue in the post-pandemic era?

 

  • Why is this important to people with disabilities and others?

 

  • Why Zoom over live stream?
