SUSTAINABILITY & LEGACY PLANNING
FOR SMALL CONGREGATIONS
Wednesday, February 9th, 2022 7:00 pm (EST)
These have indeed been challenging times for all congregations, in many ways especially so for small congregations under 100 members in outlying areas. The Jewish Community Legacy Project, a national program, is an outstanding resource for sustainability and long range legacy planning, especially for small congregations.
During our program we will
-
introduce you to the work of JCLP
-
give you a chance to discuss what you see as your primary needs going forward
-
help you make a determination of how JCLP may support you in making important strategic choices for the future of your congregation
JCLP is an independent non-profit with regional and national partners that represent the religious streams of Judaism, Jewish Federations and Foundations and historical preservation organizations such as the American Jewish Archives; but at the end of the day they work for you, and as such are not prescriptive as to how you must structure certain decisions. JCLP’s services are free.
