SUSTAINABILITY & LEGACY PLANNING
FOR  SMALL CONGREGATIONS

These have indeed been challenging times for all congregations, in many ways especially so for small congregations under 100 members in outlying areas. The Jewish Community Legacy Project, a national program, is an outstanding resource for sustainability and long range legacy planning, especially for small congregations.

 During our program we will

  • introduce you to the work of JCLP

  • give you a chance to discuss what you see as your primary needs going forward

  • help you make a determination of how JCLP may support you in making important strategic choices for the future of your congregation

JCLP is an independent non-profit with regional and national partners that represent the religious streams of Judaism, Jewish Federations and Foundations and historical preservation organizations such as the American Jewish Archives; but at the end of the day they work for you, and as such are not prescriptive as to how you must structure certain decisions. JCLP’s services are free.
