Susan Rubenstein

Temple Emunah, Lexington

"Susan is the volunteer chair of our synagogue's house committee. In addition, she is a volunteer on the shul's Covid Health Committee. She helped prepare the shul for Covid. planned health questioner, and set up standards to deal with COVID regulations. She helped the Pre-school to set up all necessary equipment to re-open the Pre-school. She single handedly managed the installation of the solar canopy on our parking lot. Susan is here on a daily basis, working sometimes full days, to make sure that the building is running smoothly!"
"Our building didn’t go away when we stopped being able to use it as a communal gathering space, and Susan, the chair of our House Committee and a member of our Covid-19 Health committee, never stopped working! Susan has played an invaluable role in keeping our building safe and in good shape during the Covid-19 pandemic. Susan has arranged for maintenance on our building, the installation of our new solar panels, and the safe use of our office space, all while setting up rigorous procedures to ensure the safety of all involved. She helped our pre-school to set up all necessary equipment and reconfigure their indoor and outdoor spaces, adding playgrounds to enable safe re-opening. Susan is at Temple Emunah on a daily basis, often working full days as a volunteer to make sure that the building is running smoothly!"
